NACBA 2017 FRIDAY ACTIVITIES

Join us as we explore Madison on Friday, May 26th.  We’ll be taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings that is distinctively Madison. In the morning, we’ll be touring the beautiful campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  This is the perfect opportunity for all those in high school to visit a BIG TIME BIG TEN COLLEGE.  You’ll see why going away to college is “SWEET”.  Next, if you haven’t done it before, you’ll want to try it – paddle boarding on the lake.  Madison is surrounded by two lakes so there’s ample opportunity for you get some sun and get wet.  If paddle boarding isn’t your thing, then try kayaking or a canoe.  For those that want to stay on land, we’ll also be hosting a bike tour around the town and visiting many of the sites you may not get a chance to see once the balling begins on Saturday.  All are welcome to join us for some fun.  Sign up below because we need to reserve spaces for the tour, kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes as Memorial Day is a busy holiday weekend.

Let’s not forget about the Worlds Largest Bratfest, www.bratfest.com.  There’s even a carnival-Mr. Ed’s Magical Midway, with spectacular thrill, family and kiddie rides.

VISIT UW–MADISON

BIKE AROUND MADISON

voted #4 best biking town in the U.S.

Jenny Chan of the NYC Sabres and Nelson Yu of the NY Rockits will be our hosts for this tour around Madison and include some of the most popular sites: Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Capitol building, Memorial Union Terrace and maybe even the Henry Villas Zoo.  Along the way, we’ll stop to shop at many of the local boutiques and local food delicacies.  We may even stop by the Annual Bratfest, www.bratfest.com.  Daily rentals from $10-$25 for the entire day.

LAKESIDE FUN

If you haven’t tried paddle boarding then you’ll have the opportunity in Madison.  The calm waters offer the perfect setting for you to enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery.  You can also choose to kayak or canoe too.
$16-$24/hr.  Harry Leong and the Philadelphia Suns will host this act fun-filled activity.  If you can’t make it just head to one of the twelve beaches nearby.
