Hi NACBA Ballers:
This year’s tournament looks to feature 12 divisions of play. New divisions this year include the University 22-under and the Grandmasters 55+over. We look forward to hosting your team.
NACBA supports a vaccination mandate for all organizations, clubs, and teams who wish to participate in our NACBAIT. We require full vaccination (at least two doses – per CDC guidelines) against COVID-19 for all participants, volunteers, and spectators. Our decision to support a vaccination mandate is not only for the protection of oneself, but for the best interest and protection for our entire NACBA community (subject to change).

HOW TO PAY AND REGISTER
PAYPAL: Teams can send money through their paypal account to: hl_cccc@yahoo.com; (Remember to send money to a FRIEND). Otherwise, service fees will be deducted (you are responsible for any fees deducted).
CHECKS: payable to the North American Chinese Basketball Association and sent to Philadelphia Suns, 1018 Winter Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107 (Entry Fees are Payable Only in US Dollars)
** All Canadian teams must pay either in a US dollar money order or with a check from an American bank
After payment, please send an email to harryleong.suns@gmail.com with your team name and division playing in so that we can reserve a place for your team. A confirmation email will be sent along with further instructions (roster forms, etc).

REGISTRATION DEADLINES
*Note: Confirmation of your team’s participation in the tournament will only be finalized once the NACBA has received notice that you have booked the required amount of rooms at the Tournament Host Hotel. Please send an email to Harry Leong (with the reservation name and confirmation number.
February 28, 2022: Early Bird Registration Deadline
($50 discount on entry fee)
March 21, 2022: Regular Registration Deadline ($100 late fee applies after this date). Confirmations of teams accepted to play begin on March 22nd.
April 4, 2022: Final Registration Deadline. No exceptions.
April 18, 2022: Team rosters are due. No exceptions
April 30, 2022: Any changes to the roster must be submitted by this date.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY DEADLINES
NEW PLAYERS: if you are participating for the first time in this tournament, you must submit proof of eligibility electronically by APRIL 18, 2022. This will allow ample time to prove your eligibility. Forms of proof accepted: original documents including birth certificates, immigration papers, passports, etc.
IF YOU NEED TO PROVE ETHNICITY: You will need to send additional documents, please email Harry Leong, harryleong.suns@gmail.com for more information. Deadline to submit the necessary information is APRIL 18, 2022.
ROSTER INFORMATION
TEAM ROSTERS must be submitted by April 18, 2022. No exceptions to this rule.
Last date to make changes/additions to the roster is May 2, 2022.
Roster limit is 12 players per team
- Players may participate on only one team and in only one division throughout the weekend. Offending teams will forfeit games played, and the ineligible player disqualified from the tournament.
- Exceptions to this rule are explained in detail for the following divisions: University and Grand Masters and Masters division.
VACCINATION STATUS: Players must be fully vaccinated (2 shots) and must attach proof in the player registration portal.

NACBA STAY & PLAY POLICY
A Stay and Play Policy has been put in place in order to ensure the success and viability of the event. It was implemented to increase the amount of room nights available to our participants, while assuring that everyone receives the highest quality of service during their stay in Rock Hill. As a result of the Stay and Play Policy, the NACBA is better able to prove our financial impact on the local economy, which continues to be essential in acquiring grants for our events.
All participating teams are required to reserve three (3) rooms for a minimum of three (3) nights each at the 2022 NACBAIT Host hotel properties.

- Each team also receives 12 commemorative Tournament T-shirts

NACBA Membership Fee
- NACBA Fee is non-refundable and will be utilized to cover NACBA expenses throughout the year.
- Each team receives 12 tickets to the tournament’s Sunday Night Banquet at Carowinds Amusement Park. Only those with a ticket will be admitted into the park. No tickets will be sold during the weekend of the tournament. Final day to purchase a ticket is WEDNESDAY, MAY 12th. No exceptions. Additional tickets are $35.00 and can be purchased and paid only by VENMO: harryleong-suns
NACBA Membership Fee
- NACBA Fee is non-refundable and will be utilized to cover NACBA expenses throughout the year.
- All teams who did not participate in 2019 event are subject to a $150 NACBA fee. (Not transferable)
- For the teams who took part in the 2019 event, the NACBA membership fee is only $50. (Not transferable)
$200 Refundable Deposit (New Policy)
Will cover the team’s adherence to the following: Stay and Play policy and work team assignments. Deposits will be returned 2-3 weeks after the conclusion of the tournament.
