MADISON, WISCONSIN – GETTING THERE

BEST CHOICE: Fly into (MSN) Dane County Regional Airport. It is located in where else – MADISON and is serviced by the big three: Delta, United and American Airlines.  Getting in and out of the airport is extremely easy and is a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Madison and the area hotels.  Check frequently and use the discount codes from United and Delta.  (Fares can go from $250-$400).

ALTERNATIVE #1: Fly into Milwaukee (MKE) and drive to Madison, Wisconsin.  It’s about 80-90 miles one-way (1 to 1-1/2 hr).  Airfares may be $75-$125 lower than flying into Madison.  (For a group of 4 or more, it may be worthwhile as you’ll be renting a car and driving anyway.  But take into account the additional travel time and gas).

ALTERNATIVE #2: Fly into Chicago (ORD) and drive to Madison, Wisconsin.  It’s about 125-135 miles one-way (2 to 2-1/2 hr.).  Airfares may be $50-$100 lower than flying into Madison.  (For a group of 4 or more, it may be worthwhile as you’ll be renting a car and driving anyway.  But take into account the additional travel time and gas).

I’m sure everyone has there way of securing the lowest or best priced airfare to Madison, Wisconsin. Buying at the right time and you can save $50-$100.  My suggestion is to check the airline or travel site regularly as prices are always changing.  A nice site to use to track fares is GOOGLE.COM/FLIGHTS.  Let them do the work and track prices for you.  Any changes and they’ll email you.

We look forward to seeing all of you in Madison, Wisconsin – HERE WE COME!!!
