MEN'S MASTER 45 & OVER

The NY Fishmen are the pick here- with high scorer David Wong (2008 MVP, perennial All-NACBA) filling it up, Ramon Wong busting the J, Ken Chan occupying the lane, Yean Liu at the 1, and John Leung doing everything else.  If you factor in an appearance by Denny Lee (Top 30), the Fishmen are too deep to fail.  This team plays old man ball, but it’s ultra effective and if it aint broke, don’t fix it.  The Toronto CCYAA Masters faced the Fishmen in the 2k8 Chip, falling by half a dozen.  These basketball junkies will be hungry and back in the chase.  F Alex Chen is the most versatile player in the division.  Montreal MMAC could be a darkhorse with Casey Wu and Arthur Hong doing their inside-outside thing on a regular basis.  The proud Chicago Dragons franchise will enter a competitive team in the 45’s division, and will feature headliner Douglas Woo. Markham FCCM will take their first stab at the Master’s division, as Billy Cheng will lead the men into battle.  The NY Thunder will star David Chan and G Mike Ho in featured roles as they look to make a Cinderella run against taller teams.
