From May 27-20, 2005, the North American Chinese Basketball Association Invitational Tournament celebrated its 25th birthday by returning to its birthplace- Chicago. In total, 56 teams participated in 6 divisions: Mens Open Elite, Womens Open Elite, Mens Friendship, Womens Liberty, Mens Senior 35 & Over, and Boys Juniors 18 & Under. The Chicago Dragons did a fabulous job in all facets of hosting the event. From the sheer number of staff, to the well organized banquet, to the generous attitudes, even down to the computerized results, this was by far the best NACBAIT that we have seen yet. The bar has been raised significantly for the next 25 years. Much thanks and appreciation to all of our sponsors, the countless volunteers, and all of this year's participants. Special thank yous go out to Brian Hale, Tony Ling, and of course Gene Lee. We will see everyone in Boston for 2006.
